Audio Video Design wins awards for media room, print advertising
The Builders Association of Greater Boston recently recognized Newton-based Audio Video Design with two Prism awards — one for the entertainment and recreation center at a five-building residential compound on Nantucket, and another for a print ad campaign highlighting the company’s work with some of the region’s best architects, builders and designers.
The space which won Best Media Room recognition from the Builders Association includes a surround sound system with a large plasma screen and concert-quality speakers, adding to the overall enjoyment of a beautifully designed area that includes game tables, an outdoor kitchen, a pool and spa. Movies and music are available at a touch, inside and out. The entertainment components are part of a sophisticated comprehensive project that operates lighting, HVAC and security throughout the vacation compound, all automated because the home is used primarily in the summer months. The project was also designed to provide the client with internet access to all systems from his office and other homes in distant cities.
Audio Video Design’s award winning print advertising campaign puts the spotlight on the outstanding spaces created by builders, architects and interior designers who frequently work with Audio Video Design, as well as the custom electronics which work in harmony with their aesthetic vision.
“Often, we are introduced to clients by way of architects and builders with whom we have previously worked,” says Audio Video Design President Brad Smith. “With more than 35 years in the industry, we have earned the respect of these professionals. We value their trust. We developed an ad that shows our appreciation, while also using those established working relationships to communicate credibility with consumers.”
“We are proud to add these awards to our long list of accolades,” Smith adds. “We have won many national awards for our design and installations, but this recognition comes from the local building community, and that has special meaning for us.”
Audio Video Design is Massachusetts’ largest firm dedicated solely to the custom design, installation and integration of home electronics, including home theater and house-wide music systems, automation, structured wiring, lighting control and security. In addition to its Newton headquarters and design center showroom, Audio Video Design has offices in Osterville and Nantucket.
